Creator God/Why now?

For the past couple of years I've been exploring, somewhat sporadically, spirituality.  Periodically I come upon something that makes sense, in a fleeting sort of way.  Then, the next day,  I don't really remember the details of the experience, only the essence of the experience.  The "ah HAH" of the experience.  Maybe here I can capture some of the "ah Hah" to re-read later.

One such ah hah came while listening to Oprah and Eckart Tolle discuss chapter 9 f his book "A New Earth".  It wasn't from the book, it was from an email one of the listener's sent in.  She said that through reading this chapter she was able to understand the Holy Trinity better.  The Father, God, our creator, His Son Jesus, who he sent to us and who died on the cross for us and the Holy Spirit.  What, who? Is the Holy Spirit?  The woman on the email explained the Holy Spirit as that which is inside of us and weaves its way through all of us to unite us.  God sent the Holy Spirit when Jesus left this world.

I've probably totally bastardized the theology of the Christian Faith.  However, I really like the idea of "Spirit God" who weaves us all into a Tapestry of His Creation.
